20 January 2024 – Hams Garments Ltd. successfully organized a training session titled “Characteristics of an Effective Grievance Management System” to enhance workplace accountability and ensure compliance with human rights standards. The session was led by Mr. Abdul Alim, President & CEO of Sustainable Management System Inc., and featured active participation from 17 professionals, including managers, senior executives, welfare officers, engineers, quality control specialists, and nurses.
The training focused on the United Nations Guiding Principles (UNGP) on Business and Human Rights, offering insights into the criteria for effective grievance mechanisms. Through interactive discussions and practical guidance, participants gained the skills necessary to design, implement, and evaluate grievance systems in alignment with UNGP standards.
