Farah Diba has been working as a trainer on multidisciplinary capacity building projects, BCC, and IEC since 2003. In her such a long 18 years career, she has been training on Occupational Health and Safety, Management System, Workplace Harassment, Gender Based Violence (GBV), Domestic Violence, Reproductive Health, Nutrition, Women Empowerment, Human Rights, Good Governance, Advocacy, Mobilization, Life Skills, Leadership, Early Marriage etc.
Farah Diba is currently working as Senior Consultant (Training) for Imarat Designers & Consultants. Formerly she worked for Alliance for Bangladesh Workers Safety as Senior Trainer (Training and Worker Empowerment) from June 2015 – December 2018 and later on she played a role of Senior Trainer at Nirapon from January 2019 – May 2020. She also has the experience of working with Change Associates Ltd. as Training Coordinator, Unnayon Shahojogy Team (UST) as Gender Specialist, Steps Towards Development as Program Officer and Manabik Shahajjo Shonstha (MSS) as Training Officer.
Ms. Farah is a Lead Auditor for ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
Farah Diba facilitated several training sessions during her tenure of career and counting. Her facilitated trainings highlights- Training on Safety Management System for Factory’s Top-level Management, Basic Fire Safety and Helpline Training for Mid-level Management of factories, Basic Fire Safety and Responsibility for Security Guards for Security Management of factories, Basic C3 Training Course for Top-level management in GIZ, training 'Health Enable Returns' (HER project) for mid-level management of factories, ToT on Gender-based Violence (GBV), Training on Gender, Human rights and Good Governance and ToT on Gender, Violence against women and Good governance for civil society members and development workers.
Farah Diba studied Geography as a Major. She completed BSc. and MSc. in Geography from Eden College, Dhaka. Besides, she has a Diploma in Social Compliance from the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM).
