A day-long training on Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) was conducted on November 12 in Chattogram, the commercial capital of the country. The Training was organized at The Copper Chimney Restaurant Auditorium in GEC Circle of the city.
Internationally recognized and SLCP approved trainer Mr. Abdul Alim, President & CEO of Sustainable Management System Bangladesh, facilitated the training program.
From different garments and other industries of Chattogram area, almost 50 people of Human Resource, Administration and Compliance professionals participated in this session.
Mr. Alim said, “There are multiple social audits in garments and footwear sector which cost the factory a lot of money, time and manpower. SLCP has come up with a single assessment tool that will save time and money and reduce people involvement. Besides, factory does not have control on other social reports, but the owner of the report is the factory itself in SLCP”.
