Two sessions were conducted virtually on ‘Latest Changes in Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) Version 5.1 and Transition Plan’ on 25 February 2021 for Bangladeshi participants and 03 March 2021 for Vietnamese participants respectively.
The sessions were organized by Sustainable Management System Vietnam and conducted by Ms. Moon Tran, Country Representative- Sustainable Management System Vietnam. Participants from food processing companies, food safety professionals, audit companies joined in these sessions.
The latest version of FSSC 22000, FSSC 22000 version 5.1 was released in November 2020 with some main reasons, such as compliance with GFSI requirements version 2020.1, continuous improvement process, with special reference to the integrity program and some minor changes in comparison with version 5.0.
In this sessions, Ms. Moon discussed about the changes of FSSC 22000 in additional requirements in Management Commitment Audit, in FSSC Additional requirements, in multisite certification processes. She also discussed about the transition process of upgrading to FSSC 22000 version 5.1 to ensure that a organization has a well-prepared transition plan.
At the end, she answered the questions raised by the attendees.
