Mr. Abdul Alim is one of the most experienced management system, social compliance and sustainability professionals in Bangladesh. Currently he is acting as president & CEO of USA based management system certification and training company “Sustainable Management System Inc.”. During his 15 years career in Quality Management System and Social compliance arena, he worked in Different International/Multinational Certification Bodies. During his auditing career, he has conducted about 1000 audits for several standards like ISO  9001,  ISO  14001,  BSCI, SEDEX, FLA, and about 40 different BRAND Code of Conduct. He is currently working as the local expert for different Brands like Hugo Boss, TBH etc.

Mr. Alim is also one of the most experienced lead trainers in management system and social compliance.  He is the IRCA approved Lead Trainer for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. Apart from these, he is working as Lead  trainer  of  Social  Accountability International (SAI) and conducting 5 days long SA8000 Basic Auditor Training Course, 3 Days long SA8000 Advanced Auditor Training Course, 5 Days Long BSCI  Lead Auditor Training Course  and Lead Auditor to GOTS. Also Mr. Alim is working as CB Monitoring Auditor and Consultant for Rainforest Alliance, an international non-profit organization working at the intersection of business, agriculture, and forests to make responsible business the new normal.

Mr. Alim conducted trainings in Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, Turkey, Germany, USA, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia and many other countries. He has conducted more than hundreds lead auditor training courses worldwide as a Lead Trainer.

Mr. Alim has developed a series of training modules based on his own analysis on the  capacity  gap  of  the  social  and  sustainability  professionals  of  Bangladesh and other Major sourcing countries. He  has  conducted  about  500  hours  of  training  in  last  2  years  on  QMS,  EMS, OHSMS, Social Accountability etc.

Mr.  Alim  is  a  popular  face  in  the  round  table  discussion  on  Social Accountability, Sustainability and Workplace Health and Safety as discussant & Key note speaker.
